Upon entering, you are made to feel like you are their only guest. A wonderful place to start our day The best cup of coffee I've had in Maine all week. The original tinwork is full of stories; if only the walls could talk. The food was fresh and scrumptious. I had a light, fluffy biscuit with cheddar cheese and sausage. There are GF options as well. They have a wide variety of tea options and oat milk too. I truly wish The Crumpet was in my neighborhood back home.

I love these guys!!!! Hope everything is going great for them. I use to go to them on my break from working on the cruise ship that docked up there. Very welcoming. I always get 2 hummus sandwiches and a beer every time we stopped there.

We stopped for the homemade crumpets on our way home from MDI and there was a full blown Irish session underway - what a delightful way to end our trip! The crumpets are excellent and I recommend going with the blueberry jam, it was exceptional. Sandwiches made fresh to order, coffee and tea, kind and helpful staff and local art on display. Moral of the story is NEVER pass up the opportunity to visit an art cafe!

Loved, loved, loved the pour over coffee with local beans - dark roast. I would be a regular if it was in our area, for sure. I loved the atmosphere and being greeted as soon as you walked in the door. The breakfast crumpet was excellent. Wished we had gotten the chicken soup too. It looked very good. Pure and simple...love it! The art work was a pleasure to view. I wish we could visit more often. Thank you very much.

Just love the simplicity of the food offerings. Don't miss the swiss, ham and cheese crumpet. Coffee is delcious, fresh and perfectly strong. Atmosphere is soothing, classical music. Lots of space and very friendly staff.

Awesome spot to grab a fresh coffee, delicious baked desert or a crumpet! What an experience, if you have not had one, a crumpet that is. Light and fluffy. The place is nice and displays local artworks from Maine artists on a changing schedule. Well worth the relaxing stop to enjoy a break from reality and enjoy coffee or tea.

Cute little local spot run by an even cuter couple. We tried muffins, crumpets, tea, and sandwiches. Local art adorns the walls, clean place. You can tell they care and deserve all the success they are working for.
